Name: The name of the location you are creating.
Type: Village, lone structure, cave, excavation, fort, port, trade ship, warship -- sum it up in a handful of words.
Population: If it varies, give a range.
Allegiance: Most are independent, but some (especially ships) follow a local leader, the Witch, or even a foreign ruler (a scout outpost for the Archenlanders, perhaps).
Country: Narnia, Archenland, Calormen, the Lone Islands, the Seven Isles, Galma, Terebithia...
Nearby Landmarks: Specify where the location is in relation to two or three landmarks from one of the maps. If this custom setting is a ship or otherwise mobile, put frequent ports of call.
Nearby Resources: Ore, forage, hardwood, etc.
Security: Does the location have physical defenses? How does it manage its security -- remoteness, secrecy, traps, environment, warriors, ambush points? If it's in Narnia, why haven't the Witch's forces destroyed it by now?
Description: At least one paragraph, please. Focus on details that will help other writers use this location in their writing -- sights, smells, common foods, lighting.
Services and Points of Interest: Does your underground village have a blacksmith? Does your treetop fort have an eyrie? Does your beaverdam play host to a peddler? Are special services available on your ship?
Personalities: Are there any named non-player characters (NPCs) associated with this setting? For each, give at least a few words about appearance, personality, and function.
References: Did you build this setting in-character? If so, please link to the thread or threads where you built it. For ambitious custom locations, please provide a link to at least one substantial thread that somehow involves the setting's creation or discovery.
A note on timelines: Since hundreds of years will pass between our time and the time of Prince Caspian, let alone the other books, don't worry too much about timeline conflicts. Try to stay reasonably consistent with established locations in the time of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which is many years in the future.
You may submit canon locations for purposes of fleshing them out and accounting for IC events.
