Public and Private Threads

All threads are public and open, unless the title includes a 'Private' tag or some note about who's invited. Be courteous in what threads you join and how you join them (though surprise attacks in public threads are fine, of course). If you intend to take hostile action, please don't attack with a fait accompli - showing up with every advantage in your first post and so forth. Basically, don't be cheap. We try to balance good OOC manners with natural IC actions and consequences. If someone tries something audacious, roll with it and have fun with the risk. This is as much a survival game as collaborative writing.
