Name: Stormwall
Species/Race: Centaur
Height: 8'2"
Age: Early middle age
Build: Burly
Strengths: Stormwall is an experienced courier and tracker, capable of moving quickly through dense forest. He is a skilled swordsman, able to wield one or two blades, though he generally only carries one.
Weaknesses: Stormwall has all the physical limitations of his species. He is relatively easy to track, and easy to outmaneuver in dense woods or with superior numbers. In combat he faces the challenge of defending his flanks and hindquarters with merely humanoid reach.
Allegiance: Loyal Narnian, with Archenlander contacts
Home: Stormwall serves as a courier between far-flung, secretive settlements of Old Narnians. He rarely stays in one place for long, but he dreams of building a home of his own.
Special Skills: In the mountains to the south, Stormwall learned the stonemason's craft, and is probably the finest living Narnian stonecutter and stonemason -- not that that's saying much in a country where doing anything loudly will get you killed. Stormwall is an experienced melee and range combatant, and a competent tracker.
Weapons of Choice: Stormwall often relies on a heavy old two-handed sword proportional to his size; he also carries two curved long-knives for close quarters and utility applications. At range, he favors the sling, as bows, arrows and javelins get caught in trees too easily when he's on the move.
History: Stormwall, like many centaurs, was taught to remember the values, beliefs and civilization of Old Narnia. He grew up in the region of Dancing Lawn, but werewolves caught his scent after he explored too boldly, and he fled south to the mountains rather than put his herd at risk. As an exile, he learned stonecutting and stonemasonry in Archenland for a number of years, and even spent some time on a trading ship. In the end, though, he returned to Narnia determined to make up for his absence. He has spent the last decade as a courier for the Old Narnians' far-flung burrows and lodges and lone houses, running essential supplies, protecting peddlers and wanderers from the secret police, and occasionally taking the fight to the Witch.
