- Galma
- Terebinthia
- The Seven Isles
- The Lone Islands
These islands are primarily human, though Old Narnians (centaurs, fauns, Talking Beasts) are present as minorities.
Small islands farther to the east are generally undiscovered at this time, though intrepid trader captains might stumble upon them.

Galma A seafaring nation of humans, Galma avoids the mainland but pays tribute to the White Queen. Any approach to Cair Paravel is punished with indiscriminate death, and Galma learned its lesson decades ago. Its people are olive-skinned or fair, and use spears, polearms, and straight swords. They are excellent sailors and shipboard archers. Their merchants and explorers are in contact with the other island nations, as well as Archenland.

Terebinthia Farther from the White Queen's rule than Galma, but still beholden to her for tribute, Terebinthia is an island nation off the coast of Archenland. Its human population is partly of pale Archenlander stock and partially from darker-skinned Calormenes, resulting in a wide range of appearances. As a crucial link between the rest of the island nations and the Calormen Empire, Terebinthia is a multicultural trade hub and a naval power. Its warriors use spears, polearms, and a mix of straight and curved swords. They frequently wear Calormene-style armor, such as padded chain-mail and pointed, turban-wrapped helmets. They are skilled shipboard archers.

The Seven Isles The Seven Isles lie off the coast of Ettinsmoor, in northern Narnia. They do extensive trade with the northern giants, Galma, Terebinthia, and even the Lone Islands. The capital city of Redhaven, on the island of Brenn, is a major naval power, but pays tribute to the White Witch and keeps its ships far away from the mainland. Its warriors favor leather armor and straight swords. Apart from the fauns, mice, dwarves and centaurs of the mainland, the duellists of the Seven Isles are the only combatants in the world who remember Narnian sword techniques.

The Lone Islands The three Lone Islands are Doorn, Avra, and Felimath, with the bulk of the human population being centered on Doorn and Avra. Narrowhaven, the capital, is on the island of Doorn. It is a major naval power, and part of the Calormen Empire. Avra also has a significant port, and Felimath is treeless but grassy, offering excellent forage for livestock and occasional Talking Beasts. Culture on the Lone Islands is more Calormen than Narnian or Archenlander. Its warriors favor spears, short bows, and curved swords, wearing either desert robes or chain-mail with pointed turban-wrapped helmets. Narrowhaven is a regional hub for the slave trade, and its slave markets do not discriminate between prisoners of war, imported slaves, or people kidnapped off the streets. Calormene law is lenient on the subject. Runaway slaves, it should be noted, have been known to try and take refuge in frozen Narnia -- not the wisest of decisions, but perhaps more so than trying to climb the mountains of Archenland.
